CPAA follows all Cornerstone Christian Academy school closures and half-day schedules. If CCA has a school closure or scheduled half-day, all CPAA classes will also be canceled for that day unless otherwise noted.

Please review the school calendar and watch for CPAA communications about any exceptions or schedule changes.

As we settle into the new season, please keep the following tuition and payment policies in mind:

  • Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.
  • A $35 late fee will be applied to accounts with an outstanding balance on the 10th of the month.
  • A credit card must be kept on file for all CPAA accounts. If you do not currently have a card on file, please log in to your Studio Director account to add one. CLICK HERE TO LOG IN
  • Monthly tuition does not fluctuate based on shorter months, holidays, breaks, or school closures. Tuition is calculated and averaged across the full August–May season, with scheduled holidays, school breaks, closures, and events already factored into the monthly rate.

As many of you know, we are making an exciting transition this year by moving our traditional CPAA Christmas Gala to a Spring Gala! We are looking forward to this change and the opportunity to bring our CPAA community together for an even bigger and more memorable celebration in the spring.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast – Headshot Information & Guidelines

 

UPDATED HEADSHOT ATTIRE GUIDELINES

With our new royal blue backdrop, we recommend students wear lighter, neutral, or warm-toned solid colors that complement the background and create a clean, polished, professional look.

RECOMMENDED COLORS:

  • White, ivory, or cream

  • Beige or light neutrals

  • Blush pink or soft peach

  • Light yellow or mustard

  • Soft lavender

  • Light gray

  • Black (acceptable, although lighter colors are preferred)

PLEASE AVOID:

  • Royal blue, navy blue, or similar shades of blue that may blend into the backdrop

  • Bright neon colors

  • Busy patterns, stripes, or distracting designs

  • Shirts with large logos, graphics, or writing

 

IMPORTANT: ALL MUSICAL THEATER STUDENTS MUST HAVE A CPAA HEADSHOT

Because we are using a new backdrop color and working toward a cohesive look for our production materials, we will not be able to reuse previous headshots or accept professional headshots taken elsewhere.

These photos will be used for our playbill, cast posters, individual social media cards, and other promotional materials. It is important that all cast members have photos that match in background, lighting, and overall appearance.

All MT students are required to have their headshot taken through CPAA, either during our scheduled headshot day or through a coordinated makeup session.

If your student cannot attend on Sunday, please email cpaa@ccanv.com so we can arrange a makeup headshot opportunity.

HEADSHOT DAY REMINDER

Date: Sunday, October 18, 2026

Time: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Location: Studio B – Upstairs to the right, next to Mr. Ralph's Music Room (Room 201)

ALL STUDENTS SHOULD ARRIVE PROMPTLY AT 12:00 PM!

We will be moving through students as efficiently as possible, and students may leave as soon as their headshot is complete.

HAIR & MAKEUP REMINDER

Please ensure your student arrives photo-ready, with neatly styled hair and a clean, polished appearance.

  • Girls: Hair should be neatly brushed and styled. Light, natural makeup is welcome, but full stage makeup is not necessary.

  • Boys: Hair should be neatly combed and styled. Students may use gel or other styling products to keep their hair neat.

CPAA will not have hair or makeup supplies available for touch-ups or styling. Parents and students must arrive fully prepared.

We appreciate your flexibility with this update! Our goal is to create beautiful, consistent, professional headshots that represent our incredible cast and can be used throughout the Beauty and the Beast production season.

Upcoming Musical Theater Fees

A $65 Script & Materials Fee will be due by October 30 for all Beauty and the Beast Jr. cast members. This fee includes each student’s script and official cast T-shirt. Cast T-shirts are expected to be available for distribution in November/December. Please be sure all fees are submitted by the October 30 deadline.

CPAA FAQ OF THE WEEK: What Are All These Extra Fees?

What does my monthly tuition cover?
Monthly tuition covers your student's regular weekly classes and instruction throughout the CPAA season. However, performances, productions, and competitions involve additional expenses that are not included in monthly tuition.

What are costume fees?
Costume fees cover the costumes students wear for performances, including our annual Spring Showcase. Depending on the classes your student takes, they may need more than one costume. Spring Showcase costumes are $125 per costume.

What is the recital fee?
Our $50 recital fee helps cover expenses associated with our annual Spring Showcase, including production-related costs and performance preparations. This fee is separate from costume fees.

What are Musical Theater production and licensing fees?
Students participating in our mainstage Musical Theater productions have additional fees that help bring the show to life!

  • Production & Costume Rental Fees ($250–$350): Help cover costumes, sets, props, and other production expenses.

  • Licensing & Materials Fee ($65): Covers required show materials, including your student's script and cast T-shirt.

These fees are separate from monthly Musical Theater tuition and Spring Showcase fees.

What are Competition Team fees?
Competition Team students have additional expenses associated with preparing for and attending competitions. These may include choreography fees, competition entry fees, costumes, and other team-related expenses. Fees vary depending on the student's team, routines, and competition schedule.

Are all additional fees due at once?
Not necessarily! Fees have different deadlines throughout the season, and we communicate these dates in advance. Payment arrangements may also be available. We encourage families to plan ahead and reach out with any questions.

Why are these fees separate from tuition?
Keeping performance and competition expenses separate allows us to charge families based on the specific programs and opportunities their students participate in, rather than including those costs in everyone's monthly tuition.
